Khloe Kardashian’s Home: Khloe Takes a $7,500 Rental and Nixes the Cameras:The Kardashians are like a fungus. They just keep growing and growing, everywhere, all over our pop culture lives. Every reality show they appear in spawns a spin-off, or a sequel, or very special – special, and the entire family continues to do next to nothing and get paid heaps of money for it. Khloe Kardashian, the middle child in the Kardashian brood, first leapt into the public eye appearing on the reality show that started it all, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”. Her appearance on that popular reality series, led to appearing in “Khloe and Kim Take Miami”, and most recently, “Khloe and Lamar”, the reality series about her life with husband, Lamar Odom, of the Dallas Mavericks. In addition to her various shows, she has parlayed her reality career into multiple businesses, radio gigs, and the occasional modeling job. However, recently, in a decided about face from the rest of her family, she and Mr. Odom have decided they are no longer interested in being in front of the camera and have axed their reality series. They both point to a need to focus on their lives (see Mr. Odom’s disastrous season with the Mavericks), and some private time. This private time apparently includes the rental of a massive condo in Dallas nearer her husband’s new team. The $7,500 per month, two-bedroom, two-bath condo with stunning views, is located in the W Dallas Victory Hotel and Residences, a short walk from the American Airlines Arena. The W has multiple upscale amenities, including two fitness centers, a zero-edge infinity pool, a private entertainment room, a spa by Bliss, and room service for all residents, whether they are in the residences or the hotel. It is a ridiculously swanky place, and for a rental, you can’t really ask for more.
Mitt Romney’s Home: a $12 Million big house for the Presidential Candidate:As 2012 marches on, and the next Presidential election draws closer, all eyes have been turned towards the various and sundry candidates. In these tough economic times, one of the aspects of all of the candidates’ lives that has garnered particular interest, has been their personal finances and the money surrounding their individual campaigns. Mitt Romney has received a number of raised eyebrows over the few years, as his real estate expenditures have been larger than the GDP of most small countries. After selling two multi-million dollar homes, the man most likely to be the Republican nominee, turned his attention to La Jolla, California. He purchased an oceanfront property for vacationing with his family during the summer. Recently, he has decided to expand his already palatial home to more than triple its original size, much to the consternation of his neighbors. The Romneys purchased the $12,000,000, 3,009 square foot, single storey home in 2009. With airy Spanish styling and a gorgeous view of the nearby ocean, it seemed the perfect place for a family getaway. It also sports high ceilings, a wrap around terrace, and floor-to-ceiling windows in almost every room. The planned renovations will expand the house to two stories and a whopping 11,062 square feet. Their new home will serve as their West Coast residence, as they also own a $10,000,000 property in New Hampshire. With all that property, it sort of makes you wonder why the Romneys are interest in The White House.
