Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux buy a $22 million home together in Bel-Air Los Angeles:Actress Jennifer Aniston and her boyfriend Justin Theroux, an actor who also wrote the blockbuster films Tropic Thunder and Iron Man 2, are set to jointly purchase a home for roughly $22 million in Los Angeles's Bel-Air neighborhood, according to a person familiar with the matter. The 8,500-square-foot home, which is listed for $24.9 million, is owned by Robert Maguire, who founded real-estate company Maguire Properties Inc. Mr. Maguire first put the A. Designed by Los Angeles architect A. Quincy Jones in 2008, but has taken it on and off several times since then. Last year, he re-listed the property for $29 million before reducing it. The four-bedroom, seven-bathroom midcentury home has floor-to-ceiling glass windows and ocean views. It's situated on 3 acres and includes a separate guest house, pool, and a vineyard. The property sits on more than three acres of land and has views of both the city and the Pacific Ocean. It also has an open floor plan with glass walls, a pool, vineyards and a guest house. Aniston, 42, and Theroux, a 40-year-old actor who also co-wrote the screenplays for "Iron Man 2," "Tropic Thunder" and the new "Rock of Ages" film, have been dating since at least May of 2011 and co-starred in the movie "Wanderlust," which was released in October. The two moved in together after Aniston sold her Bevely Hills home for $36 million in July and then rented a two-bedroom house in the Hollywood Hills. It was reported then that they were looking for a home to buy together.
Lea Michele’s Home: A $1.4 Million Mansion Makes the Bronx Native a Los Angelina:Lea Michele has received a fair amount of flack for her pouty, ultra-posed red carpet stance, and her seemingly voracious (yet somehow completely uncalculated) need to be in the front of the paparazzi in increasingly small amounts of clothing. While people who consider themselves more seasoned giggle behind their hands at her “wet-puppy” style of fame chasing, no one can deny that the young woman is ridiculously talented. An almost immediate star after blowing audiences away with her performance in the hit musical “Spring Awakening”, Ms. Michele, and her savvy agent, parlayed her amazing vocal ability, acting chops, and good looks into a solid television career. She has recently begun to shift her television career into film, and looks poised to leave her hit show, “Glee”, on a high note. The Bronx, New York native has remained largely tied to her roots, and, unlike many of her co-stars, was merely “camping out” in Los Angeles during the shooting of “Glee”, while still making her home on the East Coast. Until now, that is. Just a month ago, she finally plunked some money down on a Los Angeles pad, and, based on the property she chose, this young singer/dancer is in the Hollywood game for the long haul. The 1800 square foot, two-bedroom home, which cost a fairly reasonable $1.4 million, is modest by Hollywood standards. However, what it lacks in luxury amenities, it makes up for in gorgeous sunlight and stunning outdoor spaces. High ceilings, lots of windows, a beautiful kitchen with all new fixtures, a balcony, a large tiled terrace that wraps around part of the house, a shaded outdoor dining area with its own barbecue area, and a large backyard with a saltwater pool, round out the home. Not only is her house surprisingly cozy, but it is also walking distance from fellow “Glee” cast member, Kevin McHale’s, home. While she may be a little awkward in public, her home purchase points to the fact that she is still a pragmatic Bronx girl in private.
